Dear Betty:
How have you been? We haven't written to each other for a long time! I'm in senior high school. Since I'm a tenth grade student, the workload for me has been pretty heavy. Also, I'm the class president and the year book's vice president. I've got lots of responsibilities. Although sometimes those things will drive me crazy, I enjoy it! I learned so much from them. For instance, remember you always call me "blonde"? Well not anymore. Because now I know how to handle a big activity; how to use a proper way to communicate with people; how to ask a smart question...Haha! how's that? I'm a little different by now, right? However, I feel alone sometimes. As the new school year began. I made a promise that I want to get into a great college. I know that I need to work really hard to make it come true. Therefore, sometimes when classmates are chatting, I will go to another place to study because I am determined to achieve my goal. You know how much I like to talk, so not to talk to people while they are talking is such a great challenge for me. I need your encouragement and and prayers. Anyway how are you? Are you doing fine in school? How's everybody? I miss you so much...Until now, when people use certain words that you would use; or when I see the place that we had been together, I would always think of you. So please keep in touch with me through the phone or e-mail, and come visit me if possible. I can't wait to talk to you again!
Take care and good luck.
